How Psychological Safety Boosts the Success of DEI Initiatives

CCL Webinar: How Psychological Safety Boosts the Success of DEI Initiatives

On Demand

Duration: 1 hour

About the Webinar

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives continue to be a strategic priority for many organizations. But even in a diverse organization, some team members may hesitate to voice their thoughts, questions, and concerns. That’s why fostering psychological safety at work is essential to building a culture of trust, creativity, and collaboration.

Our research study involving nearly 300 leaders over 2+ years, found that teams with high degrees of psychological safety reported higher levels of performance and lower levels of conflict.

Join us as we chat with Joshua Dodds, DEI Specialist and Talent Program Manager at Equitable, and The Conference Board to share specific stories and practical examples of how promoting psychological safety improves organizational performance and enhances DEI initiatives.

What You’ll Learn

In this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • Why it’s important to focus on historically marginalized groups in the current landscape and the significance of psychological safety in a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • How to improve drive DEI initiatives with an increased focus on elements that foster psychological safety.
  • How mental health resources are an important component of DEI programs to increase participants’ success.
  • How to strategize to cultivate an environment where all team members can confidently contribute their unique perspectives.
