Kathleen is an accomplished business partner, trusted advisor and lawyer with global experience delivering executive leadership, strategic counsel and legal expertise to corporations, financial institutions and foreign governments. She has lived in Bahrain, Kuwait, London, Moscow and Qatar, working with top-tier global law firms and, most recently, for a national oil company in the Middle East.
Kathleen is passionate about developing executives and high potential contributors so that they can leverage their teams and their brands in order to maximize value to their organizations, their customers and clients, and their communities. She has worked with groups ranging from senior executive teams and management consultants in connection with large-scale corporate reorganizations and integrations, to oil & gas engineers, commercial leads and senior executives in connection with international joint ventures, to bankers, financial advisors and CFOs in connection with capital raises and financings for major infrastructure projects and large asset acquisitions.
Kathleen leverages her unique background at the Center for Creative Leadership in three key areas. She designs and delivers programming for CCL’s clients, she coaches key executives, and she supports the development of CCL’s EMEA operations.
As a core faculty member for CCL’s open enrollment and custom programs, Kathleen brings her many years of experience as a senior executive and lawyer in Europe and the Middle East to support all of CCL’s programs, including its important women’s leadership initiatives. She also focuses on the growing demand for leadership development in the legal and financial sectors.
As a leadership coach, Kathleen also provides executive coaching to CCL’s clients, both in its open-enrollment and custom programs.
Kathleen earned her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University. She is certified to deliver feedback on all of CCL’s 360-degree assessments, WorkPlace Big Five 4.0™, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Change Style Indicator®, Change Navigator®, Influence Style Indicator®, Learning Type Measure® and the Challenge of Change resilience program.
Kathleen has delivered leadership, core competency and action learning presentations to various professional organizations, both in the US and abroad. She has also presented on legal topics and issues at a number of conferences. She has published articles in legal publications on leadership development, career planning for lawyers and practicing law in the Middle East.
