Chris has spent over 25 years working with senior teams and faciltating leadership development programs around the world.
Chris’s relationship with The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) began first as a customer, then certifiying to be an associate faculty, and then joining full-time as a senior faculty at CCL’s headquarters in North Carolina. In 2013 Chris moved to CCL’s APAC headquarters as the Faculty Director for Design and Delivery. There, Chris worked with clients in almost all countries in APAC, leading account teams to deliver solutions for regional and multi-national organization. Chris also delivered CCL’s open-enrollment Leadership at the Peak and Leading for Organizational Impact programs.
Prior to CCL, Chris served as the Director of HR and Global Talent Development for Banner Life Sciences responsible for the company’s first talent management programs. At Wake Forest Baptist Health, Chris was the Director of Organizational Development, building the medical center’s leadership development curricula. At Raychem Corporation (now TE Connectivlty), Chris led the training function for a manufacturing plant, managed the corporate learning and development department in the San Francisco Bay Area, and led training and change management for an enterprise-level software project, living in Brussels and working across several European countries.
While working for two boutique consulting firms, Chris certified trainers in the Situational Leadership© Model and provided clients with training in team development and communication skills. Chris also led consulting engagements with clients focusing on process improvement and change management initiatives.
Current Role
Based in Colorado Springs, Chris continues to work with senior leadership teams, designing and delivering leadership development solutions for clients. Chris also continues to deliver CCL’s Leadership at the Peak program. Chris is also a CCL certified coach and his passion for career development often has him coaching in this area.
Educational Background
Chris earned a M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University in Washington, DC and a B.A. in Public Affairs / Journalism from Keene State College in Keene, N.H. Chris is a Certified Career Coach through Career Partners International and is also certified in MBTI, FIRO-B, Workplace Big 5, ExperienceChange™, Situational Leadership©, and CCL’s Benchmarks Assessment Suite.
