Over the past 15 years, Bernard has developed progressively Project Management and Leadership competencies in various sectors. He worked 14 years in a large IT multinational company, where he managed software development projects for Financial Services, Public and Industrial sectors. As of 2005, Bernard specialized in the Learning Industry and managed the operations of a European learning development department within the same IT company, managing several large teams across multiple countries to develop and manage e-learning solutions for clients such as Unilever, ABN AMRO, Pfizer, the European Commission (DG Taxud),etc.
Bernard joined CCL in 2012 to lead the EMEA Client Delivery Team.
In his current role, Bernard leads the teams accountable for the delivery of CCL solutions in EMEA. It includes Project Managers, Program Coordinators in charge of CCL’s program logistics, and Associates Management team in charge of scheduling and contracting with CCL’s associate faculties and coaches. His team members are mostly based in Belgium but are responsible for the delivery of open enrolments, custom and coaching programs across Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
He started an assignment in Greensboro in August 2014 to drive initiatives to improve CCL Global Delivery, while keeping his current EMEA responsibilities. His tasks will include management of internal transformation projects to improve CCL ability to deliver global, multi-region and campus projects.
He is also a member of the CCL EMEA Management Team.
Bernard holds a B.A. (licence) of Administration and Business Management from the University of Louvain, Belgium.
He is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Bernard is member of the Project Management Institute.
