Ramya Balakrishnan is a Data Scientist at CCL, where her work involves data collection, building AI-based models, and data visualization to drive key insights from internal and external data. Her thought leadership combines cutting-edge data science, data ethics, and machine learning techniques to analyze information equitably and effectively.

Experience

Ramya’s expertise is in analyzing data by using advanced algorithms to extract valuable information, and she has extensive experience in the fields of data science and machine learning. She participates in active research in the fields of leadership challenges and equitable, inclusive & diverse cultures. She’s an active member of the Women in Data Science organization and an active speaker in this group, sharing innovative techniques in data science.

Before joining us, Ramya was a data analyst at Tokai Carbon GE LLC, where she worked closely with the executive team to analyze sales data and recommend methods to improve sales based on the results.

Educational Background

Ramya has an MS in Information Technology with a Data Science concentration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Anna University in India.
