Established in 1983, the Colorado Springs campus houses classrooms, action learning laboratories and a fitness center on its 66 acres at the foot of Pikes Peak. It combines a stimulating setting for reflection and development with an experienced staff dedicated to providing leaders with the most effective means of implementing practical individual and organizational change. In addition to training, this facility conducts extensive research on assessment instruments, teams, and issues relevant to senior executives – a focus that is reflected in several programs offered only at this location of CCL.
Transportation & Parking
Transportation to and from the Center is provided for participants staying at the hotel selected for their specific program. Those who wish to commute each day on their own may park in any CCL parking space. Specific visitor parking spaces are available in our upper-level parking lot
CCL’s Colorado Springs campus houses classrooms, observation rooms, action learning laboratories, a fitness center, gourmet dining room, library and bookstore, and its 66 acres are surrounded by hiking and biking trails.
“My experience was stellar. The program exceeded my expectations. The views, the mountains, and the atmosphere all contributed to the tone of reflection and heightened my self-awareness. My family joined me at the end of the program and visited the area. Just incredible!”

What are pre-course materials?
Pre-course materials are assessment tools that are a central part of the program experience, and may include such items as a 360-degree assessment tool or an organizational survey. By completing these materials, you provide us with information on your leadership style and work environment, allowing us to tailor your personal development plans based on your specific needs.
Receiving your pre-course materials
An invitation to fill out your pre-course assessment materials will be sent electronically to you approximately eight weeks prior to your program date.
Time required for completion
Depending upon your program, pre-course assessment materials will require approximately two to eight hours to complete. Please begin early, so that you aren’t forced to rush through the material. An early start will also allow ample time for the raters you select to complete their materials. You will be given specific instructions about distributing and completing these assessment materials.
Pre-course materials deadline
In order to attend the program, it is very important for you to distribute, complete and return these materials to CCL four weeks before your program start date. Some of these materials require input from your colleagues, so you will need to access the information in a prompt manner in order to provide them enough time to complete their portion. Your assessment feedback is an integral part of the program experience, and missing the deadline will jeopardize your attendance. If you anticipate that you will not have your pre-course materials completed before the due date and would like to avoid cancellation or transfer fees, please call Client Services at +1 336 545 2810.
Dress is casual. Comfortable clothing, a light rain jacket, and athletic shoes are needed for all programs that include an outdoor team problem-solving session. Those participating in Leadership at the Peak will also need to bring clothes for light exercise.
The campus has wireless access throughout the building for our guests including a public printer and informal ‘loft’ area for you to check email or flights during extended break periods.
Invoices are processed at the time of registration and payment is due upon receipt.
Meals and Special Dietary Requirements
Breakfast, lunch, daily snack breaks and several reception/dinners are included in your tuition. CCL’s Executive Chef strives to provide you with healthy and appealing food selections in an environment that allows you to relax and enjoy the unique Colorado Springs surroundings. More detailed information for your specific program will be available after the registration process. If you have special dietary requirements, please contact Client Services at +1 336 545 2810 before you attend your program. Vegetarian and low-fat options are available.
Urgent messages received by the Colorado Springs campus at +1 800 633 3891 will be immediately delivered to you in your classroom. Please route all other messages to your cell phone or hotel voice mail.
Schedule / Program Hours
Program schedules vary, but generally you will need to arrive at CCL at 8 a.m. daily. Participants are given an hour for lunch and several breaks throughout the day for snacks, checking voice mail, etc. It is imperative that you attend all scheduled program activities.
The Center is a non-smoking facility indoors. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside of the building.
During class time, we request that participants minimize distractions by turning off all cell phones, technical devices, etc., or turn them to vibrate if emergency calls must be accepted. Breaks are given throughout the day to check voice mail and to make calls.
We recommend you fly into the Colorado Springs Airport and arrive at the hotel the night before your program begins. (Alternatively, Denver International Airport is a 1.5-hour drive to Colorado Springs.) Please arrange your return flight to depart no earlier than two hours after the end of your program.
Colorado Springs Shuttle happily provides reliable, professional A+ BBB rated shuttle service to Colorado Springs and Denver International Airports as well as the metro areas, ski resorts and throughout the state of Colorado.
Office hours are daily 5:00am to 9:00pm where one of our dispatchers are waiting to help you out and get your unforgettable trip planned. We can be reached at 719-687-3456 or toll free at 877-587-3456. Due to limited space on the shuttles we highly recommend making a reservation especially during the busy seasons and holidays. The only way to guarantee that you have a seat is to hold it with a credit card.
The cost of lodging is not included in your program tuition and you are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. We strongly encourage you to stay at the preferred hotel listed under the Accommodations tab on myCCL, which becomes available to you upon registration for your program. CCL participants will receive a group rate at this preferred hotel, which includes breakfast and transportation to and from CCL. Staying at a different hotel will not afford you these amenities or the opportunity to interact with the other participants in your program. Please note that the deadline for reservations at the preferred hotel is set a month prior to your program and the group allocation is limited. After that deadline, you may lose the preferred hotel price and a reservation at the hotel.
Check in / Check out
Please plan to arrive at the hotel the night before your program begins. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and reservations are guaranteed for a late arrival. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. On the last day of your program, it is best to check out of the hotel before coming to CCL.
Transportation to the Campus
If you are staying at the preferred hotel that CCL recommends for your specific program date, transportation to and from the hotel is provided daily.
Due to the time constraints of the program, there is minimal time allotted for sightseeing or recreational activities. We encourage you to arrive in Colorado Springs a few days early, or stay a few days after the close of the program to enjoy the beauty of our surrounding area.
