November 2015 —

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) and American Express will host 72 emerging nonprofit leaders from across the United States during the American Express Leadership Academy the week of November 16, 2015 in New York, NY. American Express and CCL joined forces in 2008 to create the American Express Nonprofit Leadership Academy for emerging nonprofit leaders. The Leadership Academy is a five-day training program which immerses participants in leadership development and business skills through sessions with CCL faculty and American Express senior executives.

To expand the Academy’s reach, American Express will live-stream two special sessions Nov. 17. The first session on “Embracing the Difficult: Leadership for a New/Next Generation,” led Acumen CEO Jacqueline Novogratz, starts at noon EST. The second session on “Diversity and Inclusion in the Nonprofit Sector,” led by Ana L. Oliveira, President and CEO of The New York Women’s Foundation, begins at 4 p.m. EST.

Live-stream viewers can join the conversation and submit questions for the panel on Twitter by using the hashtag #amexleads. Register for the live-stream at:
