
Elizabeth Brondos Fry, PhD
Current Role
Elizabeth Brondos Fry is an Evaluation Associate on our Insights and Impact Team. In this role, she leads and supports evaluation and research projects, with a particular emphasis on social sector work such as higher education and nonprofit. Her work includes designing and implementing custom evaluations, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and translating findings into actionable insights that inform leadership development practices.
Experience
Elizabeth’s background is in educational psychology with a focus on quantitative methods and statistics education. She brings over a decade of experience in higher education, where she taught a range of statistics and data science courses, including community-engaged courses that focused on data storytelling for social good. She also led research projects focused on improving statistics education, including evaluating the impact of reform efforts on teaching practices and student learning.
At CCL, Elizabeth has supported custom evaluation for clients across the social sector, and has led the design and implementation of custom evaluation for higher education and nonprofit clients. She has led and contributed to research projects and internal learning initiatives, with particular interest in research that promotes inclusivity in leadership development, explores long-term impact of leadership development, or relates to advancing understanding of leadership in higher education contexts. She is currently leading research to explore the long-term outcomes of leadership programs for social sector leaders and their communities. Elizabeth has presented past work at conferences and has contributed to publications in peer-reviewed journals. She approaches her work with a human-centered mindset, pairing thoughtful inquiry and storytelling with analytical depth.
In addition to client and research work, Elizabeth is also deeply engaged in efforts that foster connection and belonging within CCL. This includes co-leading the Hispanic/Latinx Employee Resource Group (ERG), being an active member of several other ERGs, and contributing to an organization-wide workstream to enhance community and belonging at CCL.
Educational Background
Elizabeth has a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities; an MS in Statistics from The Ohio State University; and a BS in Mathematics from Valparaiso University.

Elizabeth is a member of the International Leadership Association (ILA), the Minnesota Evaluation Association, and the Caucus for Women in Statistics (CWS).
