Fara Francis CCL Chief Information Officer

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)®, a top-ranked leadership development organization, today announced it has appointed Fara Francis, a senior technology executive with expertise in strategic planning, operational leadership, and business innovation, its Chief Information Officer, effective Monday August 9, 2021. In this role, Francis will spearhead the strategy and execution of technology innovations for CCL. 

Throughout her career in the Washington D.C. area, Francis has been a key organizational leader in developing and deploying the technology needed to launch and support new products and services that generate major revenue and impact. Her strong track record of building technology infrastructure that drives efficiency and elevates the client experience align with CCL’s continuous aim to integrate technology into the execution of the company’s strategy. 

Francis joins CCL after serving most recently as Chief Information Officer for the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Prior to that, she was Chief Information Officer for the Associated General Contractors of America from 2006 to 2018. Earlier in Francis’ career, she was a Senior Program/Project Manager in software solutions for Velosio and a Senior Consultant and Manager for Grant Thornton, LLP in their business advisory services group. 

Francis earned an MBA in Finance from Marymount University and a B.B.A. in Business Management, with honors, at the University of the District of Columbia. She holds an Executive Leadership Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institute.
