LinkedIn recently announced the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)® as the winner of its US Talent Awards for Best Employer Brand for an organization of its size.
CCL was selected for the award based on strong performance on LinkedIn between August 2020 and August 2021, using criteria such as follower growth and engagement with content shared. Averaging about 10,000 new followers and 25,000 engagements each month for the past year, CCL’s company page on LinkedIn now has more than 400,000 followers, and a typical CCL post generates an average engagement rate 18x higher than the platform’s benchmark for company-shared content.
“We’re honored to be counted among the other recipients of this prestigious award from LinkedIn, including brands like Amazon, Netflix, and WeWork,” CCL President and CEO John R. Ryan said.
“In addition, this is the fourth consecutive year that CCL has received recognition for outstanding performance on social media, particularly on LinkedIn. It’s a testament to the consistent hard work of our talented team and to the dedicated community of global followers that engage with us each day.”
Previous honors include:
- 2020: CCL was featured in a case study created by LinkedIn showcasing how the brand leveraged the platform’s Events tool to host a highly successful one-day virtual conference at the onset of the COVID pandemic. LinkedIn also invited CCL’s Social and Brand Communications Manager Emily Viviani to speak on a panel about CCL’s popular LinkedIn Live events, which generate significant awareness and engagement. - 2019: CCL won first place for follower growth on LinkedIn from the prestigious Content Marketing Institute’s annual “Content Marketing Awards,” recognizing CCL’s 64% year-over-year follower growth. During the same time period, CCL’s overall engagement rose 96% on LinkedIn.
- 2018: CCL was honored by ProEd’s Marketing Consortium in its annual Social Media Year in Review Report, which analyzes the social media presence of US-based business schools and executive education providers. ProEd ranked CCL’s 2017–2018 performance across social media channels, and particularly LinkedIn, ahead of executive education institutions like MIT, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, Northwestern, and Stanford. CCL was rated 1st in the nation for amplification and reshares of brand content on social media, and 2nd for conversations and engagement generated.
“Decades of research and practice from CCL point to leadership as the critical lever for igniting positive, transformative, and sustainable change in the world. CCL is honored to share resources that support leaders of all levels in creating a positive impact, and social media has proven an effective tool to implement that mission,” added Ryan.
