CCL Researchers Publish a Chapter in the Book, Talent Assessment: Embracing Innovation and Mitigating Risk in the Digital Age

The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Practices Book Series has published Talent Assessment: Embracing Innovation and Mitigating Risk in the Digital Age, a book about cutting-edge topics in talent assessment.

CCL researcher Sarah Stawiski and Honorary Senior Fellow Cindy McCauley contributed a chapter called Maximizing the Effectiveness of Assessment-Rich Leadership Development Programs. The chapter uses our Leading for Organizational Impact (LOI) program for senior leaders as a case example to highlight the use of multiple assessments (including those used to assess inner self, visible self, and social self) to help leaders grow beyond their current capabilities. It also provides a discussion of factors related to the program, the leaders, and their organizational contexts that can maximize the effectiveness of this type of assessment-rich development experience.
