Current Role

Bert De Coutere is our Director, Innovation. Based in Brussels, his responsibilities include leading and implementing our innovation efforts, shaping a more innovative culture, and setting our innovation strategy.

Experience

Bert joined us in 2011 as a solution architect, designing custom leadership development experiences, before shifting focus in 2015 to concentrate on innovation leadership. Before joining us Bert worked at IBM Learning Development – Europe, responsible for commercial e-learning development projects across Europe and managing their learning innovation initiatives. Bert wrote the book Homo Competens and frequently speaks at conferences such as Online Educa Berlin.

Education

Bert holds an Executive MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and a degree as Commercial Engineer in Information Management from KULeuven.
