Susan Reinecke is a Senior Faculty member in our Societal Impact Group, where she designs and delivers leadership development solutions for K–12, higher education, population health, and nonprofit clients. Her areas of expertise include leadership development and improving group and individual capacity for communication, critical thinking, and collaboration through experiential, interactive programs and workshops.
Susan is the co-author of 2 books on youth leadership development: Social-Emotional Leadership: A Guide for Youth Development and Building Bridges: Leadership for You and Me.
Susan has over 20 years of experience working in and with public and private schools, colleges, universities, and nonprofits across the US. She has taught at both the university and community college level and has held multiple leadership roles within the educational system. Her experiences as a professional educator and school leader give her an insider’s view of the rewards and challenges of improving education. She strongly believes that educational leadership is both a science and an art.
Susan has an MEd in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College, and an MEd in Theater from the University of North Carolina–Greensboro. She also has a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.
