Experience

Nick has over 25 years’ experience in a variety of global & corporate headquarter roles for NYSE 250, FTSE 100, 250 organizations working in cross cultural environments, leading global projects and virtual teams.

Nick’s most recent position was for TE Connectivity, a $13 billion industrial technology company. With 80,000 employees in over 50 countries, his role was in Corporate Headquarters as the Director of the Global Organizational Leadership and Development Team, being responsible for the global strategy to build and develop the Executive Leadership population, the OD practice and to consult to the global executive teams regarding talent development. One of his key responsibilities was for the development of the General Manager high potential pipeline. Nick’s base was in EMEA with a virtual reporting team in HQ Philadelphia.

Nick’s previous roles have also seen him lead the Global Talent Management Strategy for Rexam Plc, the second largest global consumer packaging company.  A FTSE 100 with a turnover in excess of £3.5 billion pa, employing 22,000 in over 20 countries.

In addition, Nick’s prior consulting experience covers leadership development assignments for the Ministry of Defense as visiting faculty on the Joint Services MDA program, The Royal Mint (a four year change program), Vodafone, Nokia, Orange, Financial Services Authority, National Health Service, Virgin Money, Total, Ford, Jaguar, PepsiCo, Whitbread, United Biscuits and Scottish Enterprise Network.

Current Role

Nick is the General Manager Middle East Region at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Member of the Leadership Team EMEA, he is responsible for the definition and implementation of CCL’s regional strategy and business development.

His broad experience as both a consultant in Organizational Leadership and from his corporate experience allows him to brings a good understanding of how the internal and external blend of skills, behavior and capability can deliver real, sustainable value to an organization. He is passionate about leaders developing acute self-awareness and the ability to truly understand how their behavior affects their own success, that of the teams they lead and ultimately shapes the culture of their organization. He provides consultancy services in a broad range of topics, including change management, strategy formulation, Talent Strategy, leadership and team development.

Educational Background

Nick holds an MA in Organizational Development & Learning from UWE 1995 – 1997. He has also attended the Program of International Negotiation, Harvard Law School in 2008. He is certified in MBTI & HOGAN.  In addition he was awarded the Global HR Leadership Award for the consulting, design & implementation of the India Talent Management Strategy for Global Industrial Technology organization.
