Mary is an Organizational Leadership Practitioner and senior faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina.
With senior level line and staff management experience, she has a track record of effectively managing sales and business operations teams and leading cross-functional, mission-critical initiatives. As faculty member and certified coach, Mary has earned positive client feedback on strength of content knowledge, executive presence, facilitation style, participant engagement, and communication skills relating to multi-level global audiences.
As a faculty member in CCL’s Organizational Leadership Practice, Mary designs and delivers customized leadership strategy initiatives for senior executive teams responsible for driving organizational performance. Her experience from over 15 years in the field of leadership development includes working with clients from global industries including energy, consumer products, insurance, banking, professional services, healthcare, telecommunications, government, non-profit, chemical manufacturing and more. She has delivered open enrollment programs across CCL’s portfolio including Leading for Organizational Impact, Women’s Leadership Experience, Maximizing Your Leadership Potential, Assessment Certification Workshop and Coaching for Greater Effectiveness. She has extensive experience facilitating assessment feedback initiatives with executives and certifying others on the use of CCL’s assessment portfolio. She is qualified in 4MAT® instructional design techniques, and is certified in CCL’s suite of 360 assessments, the FIRO-B®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®, Workplace Big Five Profile™ and many other personality assessments used in leadership development engagements.
Educational Background & Professional Associations
Mary holds a MA degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University. She is a certified coach having completed an extensive program through the Columbia University Coaching Certification Process (CCCP®). As part of this year-long process, she deepened her individual and team coaching expertise and explored evidence-based research and practice in support of change leaders. Mary holds an International Team Coaching Certificate through the Academy of Executive Coaching Ltd. (AoEC) and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF®). She is a current Associate with the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
