Liora Gross


Liora leads CCL’s Practice in Leading Digital Transformation (LDX). The focus of the LDX Practice is to provide expertise in creating leaders and organizations that embrace opportunities for growth, innovation, and digital integration – supporting CCL and clients in their efforts to adopt technology and be digitally fluent. Her work focuses on assisting clients in digital transformation journeys and developing digital leaders, acknowledging that results are achieved only when the leadership and culture of organizations are truly transformed. Liora also holds responsibility for the strategic management of the Sub Saharan African region.


Liora’s work experience spans both corporate and consulting roles, at the intersection of leadership development, executive education, and digital change and transformation. With a constant focus on igniting transformative change in people and organizations, she has engaged with clients in a broad range of industry sectors (including Automotive, Construction, Consulting, Defense, Education, Minerals and Energy, Financial Services, FMCG, Government, Information Technology, Logistics, Manufacturing, Media/Publishing, Mining, NGO’s, Petrochemical, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Research and Development, Telecommunications, Transport and Utilities).

In previous roles, Liora led a change management team at Dimension Data, a leading global IT organization. Here she was responsible for creating a Change Management Center of Excellence and for delivery of internal and client-facing change projects to support technology implementation. She was Consulting Partner and a founding member of the start-up Worldsview Academy, a provider of training in Organization and Leadership Development and Change Management. Previously she was a Director of the HayGroup (now Korn Ferry) in South Africa, where she led the Organization Effectiveness and Human Resources Planning and Development practice area.

In the academic sphere, Liora has been adjunct faculty at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria), Wits Business School and Henley Management College. Her subjects included Change Leadership, Organizational Design and Development, Strategic HR Management, and Issues in Leadership and Personal Mastery. Liora also worked as a program director to design, develop and manage delivery of global leadership development programs. These programs achieved substantial external recognition and acknowledgement of best practice in ROI through UNICON, as well as recognition for excellence in action learning. Liora was also recognized as Best Part-Time Lecturer at Wits Business School in 2006.

Education & Professional Affiliations

Liora has a Master of Business Administration (cum laude) and a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Psychology, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is an accredited coach with the World Institute of Action Learning and has authored papers on action learning and women’s leadership development, as well as research in knowledge management, leadership, and culture change. Activities and awards at university included being President of the MBA class,  Accenture Award for best MBA Research Report in Information Systems, Deloitte Award for Best MBA Student in Behavioral Sciences, Eskom Award for Top Student at the University of the Witwatersrand, Freda Lawenski Scholarship for Academic Excellence, University of the Witwatersrand Merit Award for Industrial Psychology,  University of the Witwatersrand Bursary, paper presented at PASA Conference on Stress and Coping Mechanisms amongst Black Women Managers, and participation in a voluntary Employment Assistance Program at the Get Ahead Centre (Soweto).
