John Morales


John comes to CCL with a wide range of experience in the business development, marketing, and leadership development fields, both in the US and LATAM markets. Most recently, John led and directed Latin America sales, client services and operational strategy for Impact International. He was also a key player for H&R Block leading and supporting the sales, marketing and training & development strategy in South Florida. Last but not least, John was chosen in 2011 for an elite leadership program with Bank of America, where only 50 participants (one per state) were selected nationwide based on leadership and coaching capabilities. John is fluent in Spanish and Catalan and brings additional experience working as an entrepreneur and educator in Spain from 2009-2011.

Current Role

John serves as a Strategic Business Partner based in San Diego for the Center for Creative Leadership in Latin America. His focus is to support the LATAM market by building capacity, serving existing partners and expanding new partnerships in the region. John works on a very dynamic and agile team led by Tim Davisson.

Educational Background

John earned an Associate Degree with a specialization in Psychology from Palm Beach State University and a B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University, where he was a Research Assistant for 3 years focusing on neuroscience, self-awareness and learning agility. Following that, he earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He is certified to deliver feedback in all CCL 360-degree assessments.

Professional Affiliations

John has been involved in multiple learning and development projects supporting youth, women and minority communities in South Florida. He has also collaborated with multiple non-profits such as El Sol and Palm Beach Substance Abuse Coalition, as a support facilitator. John has represented leadership development organizations at many industry-related events such as the Human Capital Forum in Argentina and Colombia in 2018 and has been a motivational speaker to youth sharing his view about resilience.
