Chris is a global leader practitioner. Specializing in senior executives and strategic decision-making, Chris has worked with a wide variety of international organizations and government entities across the fields of foreign relations, defense, education, and humanitarian assistance. A proven leader at executive levels, his practical experience reflects lessons learned while leading organizations ranging from 30 to 4000 employees at all levels for over 30 years. His global leadership experiences include leading dynamic organizations in North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Chris is a retired U.S. Army officer, who most recently managed post-graduate studies for senior government leaders and executives, including their experiential learning programs and executive education curriculum, to facilitate their strategic leadership development goals. He led a dynamic group of operational analysts, executive education faculty, and leadership practitioners to harness their skills into world-class executive education programming. He previously worked with conflict resolution, strategic planning, and policy development on behalf of the U.S. in Africa. With a truly global perspective, he continues to pursue the study and practice of leadership competencies and producing results for clients and organizations.
Chris serves as senior faculty in the design and delivery of custom leadership development solutions. His focus is designing and delivering leadership programs for managers and executives in a variety of corporate and government fields. Building on decades of leadership practical application, he connects the leadership competencies desired by client organizations and their leaders with the world-class portfolio of CCL® solutions. Chris is also a member of CCL’s Public Speaker Bureau addressing a variety of motivational and leadership topics. He is certified on Workplace Big 5®, The Organization Workshop®, and 4MAT® Learning Type Measure.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington and Lee University. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the Command and General Staff College, and a Master of Science with Honors from the National Defense University, with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies.
