Chris is a leadership solutions partner, specializing in developing senior executives and the implementation of strategy. Chris has led efforts in a wide variety of organizations in the areas of foreign relations, defense, higher education, and humanitarian assistance. His executive experience reflects over 30-years of leading organizations ranging from 30 to 4000 employees, including the direction of dynamic, complex projects and multi-national teams in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Chris is a retired U.S. Army officer, who most recently managed the reform and the delivery of post-graduate studies for senior government leaders and executives, including their experiential learning programs and executive education curriculum. He led a world-class faculty comprised of executive educators, strategic analysts, leading experts in policy and defense, and accomplished leadership practitioners to deliver the curriculum to the military’s most senior leaders and advisors. He has taught at the Master’s level on national security topics and strategy. He also designed and led conflict resolution projects, global strategic planning, and national policy development on behalf of the U.S. in Africa and Europe. With a truly global perspective, he continues to pursue the study and practice of leadership development to design and deliver leadership development at the individual, organizational, and executive levels.
Chris serves as leadership solutions partner for the design and delivery of custom leadership development solutions. His focus is designing and delivering leadership programs for managers and executives in a variety of corporate and government fields. Building on decades of leadership practical application, he connects the leadership competencies desired by client organizations and their leaders with the world-class portfolio of CCL® solutions. Chris is also a member of CCL’s Public Speaker Bureau addressing a variety of motivational and leadership topics. He is certified on Influence and Change Style Indicators®, Workplace Big 5®, The Organization Workshop®, and 4MAT® Learning Type Measure.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington and Lee University. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the Command and General Staff College, and a Master of Science with Honors from the National Defense University, with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies.
