June 3, 2019 – Moscow
On invitation of the Belgian Russian Business Circle in Moscow, Marc Dellaert delivered a keynote speech on disruption and leadership for a group of more than 45 senior leaders of Belgian companies. The high profile event was hosted by H.E. the Belgian Ambassador to the Russian Federation and took place at the Belgian residency in Moscow. It was followed by a networking event.
Marc Dellaert: ‘Leaders today face new and immense challenges triggered by technological innovation, new entrants, globalization and demographic changes. They cannot build on their experiences from the past. In times of uncertainty and ambiguity, business models, organisation structures and corporate cultures may need to be reinvented. Organizations that are able to balance good management practices with intrapreneurship are better equipped for the future.’
To sustain the success of their organisations in a changing world, leaders are called on large scale business transformation. Leaders have the principal responsibility to shape the right culture for success. Teams and organisations can benefit from becoming more agile and customer centered while accelerating innovation and embracing new technologies and business models. This implies the need to develop the right leadership capability at all levels. CCL’s digital innovation leadership model provides a comprehensive framework to lead organisations through digital transformation.
