Imagine a situation which demands leadership to resolve a challenge. Leadership Essentials for Change™ can help immediately. Essentials are based in research and practice at the Center for Creative Leadership as well as in the best ideas and tools in the field of human development. Each essential is a simple, practical, teachable idea or tool that supports learning, development, change and transformation. The essentials build on and reinforce one another to produce results that matter. Leadership Essentials for Change is a compact starting place for developing leadership.
All participants will receive a leadership essentials deck.
Who Should Attend?
This Leadership Essentials is a two-day program from the Center for Creative Leadership designed to help participants who work with youth and young adults unlock their potential. It offers key leadership models and helps leaders take stock of where they are and map a path to greater effectiveness.
The program includes three main components:
Assessment: Assessment tools to help participants look within and examine their identity, leadership skills and challenges, and set developmental goals.
Challenge: Experiential team-based activities provide a safe place for participants to enact and enhance leadership skills.
Support: The resource materials and peer input helps participants uncover practical steps they can take to reach personal development goals.
By applying the lessons from Leadership Essentials, participants will have the ability to:
- Identify the essential elements of leader development and key drivers of effective leadership.
- Maximize their leadership capacity using CCL’s framework for development.
- Address personal leadership challenges.
- Give and receive feedback using CCL’s SBI model.
