New Vice President of Research, Innovation and Product Development is an international authority on evaluation of leadership development initiatives.
Greensboro, NC – Jennifer Martineau, who has served in a wide array of senior leadership and research roles during her 19-year career at the Center for Creative Leadership, has been named CCL’s new Vice President of Research, Innovation and Product Development.
Most recently, Martineau directed CCL’s North American Organizational Leadership group, which helps clients execute their business strategies by increasing organizational capacity for leadership. She has worked with senior leaders and teams globally in sectors ranging from health care, government and education to pharmaceuticals and energy.
Prior to that, Martineau served for three years as CCL’s Director of Global Research. She replaces David G. Altman, who became Vice President of CCL’s Europe-Middle East-Africa operations on January 1.
Recognized internationally for her expertise in evaluation of leadership development initiatives, Martineau is co-editor of the definitive handbook on that topic, CCL’s Handbook of Leadership Development Evaluation.
She holds a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.
“Jennifer is a superb leader with a remarkable range of experience in our field,” said CCL President and CEO John R. Ryan. “She brings to this role deep expertise in leadership research and also how to apply it in practical, powerful ways for individual leaders and entire organizations.”
“CCL believes that investing in cutting-edge and relevant research, evaluation, innovation, and product development will enable us to accelerate leadership with our clients, advance the field of leadership development, and deliver meaningful value to the greater good,” Martineau said. “We’re ramping up our intensity even more right now. I cannot imagine a better job than the one I’ve been asked to do, and I’m thrilled to serve our organization, our clients and the world at this very exciting time.”
