Greensboro, NC – The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) and the Greensboro Rotary Club will come together on Friday, July 12 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rotary Youth Leadership Program.
Over the past three decades, the program has provided a week-long, world-class leadership development experience for more than 1,600 rising high school juniors and seniors in the Greensboro region. Program alumni have succeeded in a wide range of professional fields, from finance, marketing and engineering to medicine, higher education and entrepreneurship.
A survey found that 100 percent of the program’s alumni reported an enhanced understanding of the value of diverse leadership styles. In addition, 99 percent said the program improved their grasp of the principles of leadership, and 99 percent also indicated that the program positively affected their lives.
“At CCL, we tell our clients that leadership is like a muscle; the more frequently and intelligently you train, the stronger you get,” said CCL President and CEO John R. Ryan. “That is why it is crucial to help young people explore and develop their leadership potential early on. It continues to be a privilege to partner with the Greensboro Rotary Club on these efforts.”
