Cheryl Flink

Cheryl Flink, Ph.D.


Cheryl has led strategy and growth initiatives for both private and public companies, serving in a variety of executive roles. Her work leading strategy, analytics and research, sales and marketing, operations, and product development provides unique problem-solving perspectives for organizations requiring transformational change. Her experience with data, technology, and analytics has led to new products and services to monetize data find new market opportunities, and improve revenue and cost drivers. In her most recent role as Chief Strategy Officer for Market Force Information, a customer experience measurement company, Cheryl managed global sales and retention for Fortune 500 clients, marketing, analytics, operations, the strategy for technology and product development, and Canadian operations.

Cheryl currently serves on the Board of Directors for the digital transformation company Bounteous (backed by the private equity company Mountaingate Capital), and on the Board of Advisors for Valyant AI, an artificial intelligence company developing digital employees. As a board member she contributes expertise in analytics product development and sales and marketing growth strategies.

Current Role

Cheryl leads the Global Leadership Research and Analytics (LRA) team, including the Leadership Analytics practice. The team creates the original research that competitively differentiates CCL, resulting in thought leadership, data monetization strategies, new technology and new technology. She currently serves on the steering committees for both Talent X-Ray and Leadership by Design, and leads the new Data Governance and Diversification Council.  She joined CCL in January, 2019.

Educational Background

  • Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in social psychology with an emphasis in research methods and statistics. Graduate school work focused on a) children’s achievement and motivation and b) person perception.
  • Participated in the Leadership at the Peak program in January 2017 while Chief Strategy Officer at Market Force.
