Bill Pasmore

Experience

Prior to joining CCL, Bill was a partner in the consulting firm Oliver Wyman Delta, a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan, which focused exclusively on advising CEOs and Boards.  During his time there and now at CCL, he advised CEOs/ Boards at a variety of organizations, including WalMart, Dow, Pepsi, Unilever, CRB Engineering, Kaiser Permanente, Massachusetts Mutual, Compuware, Lupin Pharmaceuticals, and Thrivent Financial.  Bill is also a Professor of Practice in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University and was a tenured full professor in the Weatherhead School of Management of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Current Role

Bill Pasmore has been a member of the CCL Executive Team for the past twelve years.  He is a coach to CEOs and advises Boards, CEOs and Senior Teams on matters pertaining to strategic change, board leadership, CEO succession, and senior team effectiveness.

Educational Background

Bill holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering/Industrial Management and a Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences, both from Purdue University.

As a thought leader, Bill has published 30 books and numerous articles, including Leading Continuous Change, Creating Strategic Change, Research in Organization Change and Development, Relationships that Enable Enterprise Change and Advanced Consulting.  

Personal

Bill resides in New York City with his wife Mary and is the proud father of two young professional women pursuing careers in consulting.
