Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award
2009 Call for Papers
The Center for Creative Leadership is sponsoring the annual Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award to recognize outstanding unpublished papers by undergraduate and graduate students.
Hakan Ener, a doctoral candidate in Strategy at the international business school INSEAD, won the 2008 award. His paper, titled "Leadership Experience and Organizational Learning," examines how leadership experience influences organizational learning and performance as firms develop new lines of business. His research shows that firms with highly experienced leaders are actually more likely to underperform as they develop new businesses. Download the 2008 Winning paper abstract (pdf)
