Phase 1: Before the Program

The Leadership at the Peak experience is driven by detailed, personal leadership assessments that tailor the program to the specific needs of each participant. The depth of feedback is often cited as the most valuable aspect of the program experience. The assessment process begins several weeks in advance and engages the participant as well as their boss, direct reports and peers. Phase 2: The Face-to-Face Program: 5 Days

Day 1 - Public Image of a Leader

  • Physiological assessment of health and fitness
  • Executive 360-degree behavioral assessment
  • Public image simulated television interview and feedback session

Day 2 - Leadership Flexibility

  • Fitness workout time
  • Personality preference and leadership style assessment
  • Explore talent management as a component of organizational sustainability

Day 3 - Leading Organizational Sustainability

  • Fitness workout time
  • Delivery of fitness evaluation results
  • Action-learning module on organizational climate issues, including social responsibility
  • Challenging outdoor team problem-solving allows participants to experiment with new leadership strategies

Day 4 - Creating a Feedback Culture

  • Fitness workout time
  • Personal leadership feedback and developmental planning
  • One-to-one session with certified CCL Executive coach
  • Organizational climate leadership survey to assess organizational effectiveness
  • Faculty and peer feedback

Day 5 - Creating the Leadership Legacy

  • Development of individual exercise and nutritional plans by fitness specialist
  • Leveraging development to address organizational challenges
  • Goal setting and action planning for future development

Phase 3: After the Program

  • One post-program coaching session conducted by phone
  • Follow-up online assessment, conducted three months after the program
