Is any pre-work required to attend the Developing the Strategic Leader program?
One of CCL's primary beliefs is in the value of "assessment for development"- meaning that we use assessment tools to help you determine your strengths and development needs. Our extensive experience in the field of leadership development has taught us that this type of information can be the foundation for significant personal and professional growth. Consequently, we will ask you to fill out several assessments 7-8 weeks before you attend your program. It is not uncommon to invest several hours completing these surveys. Assessments to be completed by your boss, peers, and/or direct reports require their time as well and should be distributed promptly. Though time-consuming, the feedback received through these assessments is often cited as the most valuable aspect of the experience.

Your assessments will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We will not share your results with other participants, your co-workers, or anyone else in your organization.

What kind of feedback will I receive during the Developing the Strategic Leader program?
A one-to-one session with a certified CCL feedback coach helps participants integrate assessment data and learning's from the week. Carefully structured peer feedback sessions provide behavioral data to compare with data from assessments. You will also participate in a two-part business simulation that will help create alignment and implement strategic direction.

How do I register?

There are three easy ways to register:

  1. Online: Our secure, online registration form allows you to select your desired program date and location, provide your contact and payment information, and submit your form directly through our Web site.
  2. By Email, Postal Mail or Fax: Download a registration form in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) and submit as indicated on the form. Although available dates change regularly, the most current date and location information is found on the Dates & Registration page for each program.
  3. By Phone: Simply call Client Services in the region where your program is located: +1 336 545 2810 (North America), +32 (0) 2 679 09 10 (Europe), or +65 6854 6000 (Asia).

How far in advance do I need to register for a program?
Class size is limited and many programs require the completion of assessment surveys (pre-course materials), which are distributed seven to eight weeks in advance of the program. For these reasons, it is important for you to apply as far in advance as possible.
