Other deliverable of this piece of research was her recommendation of a low-budget intervention program to reduce students' stress level, adopted by the International Students and Scholars' Office at Cornell. Her additional research experience included interviews with Chinese and Caucasian families and observation of their communication styles. Her co-authored paper of the findings was published in Journal of Cognition and Development (2006).

In addition, Rola has taught several classes in Psychology and worked as a Teaching Assistant at both Cornell University and Lehigh University. She received high evaluation from students in her class.

Rola has also served as leader for various student organizations in graduate school. Some of her work involved event planning, funding raising, and project management.
