Pearson Performance Solutions and the Center for Creative Leadership to Present on Succession Planning
April 2006 - Chicago, IL - Pearson Performance Solutions (Pearson PS), a leading provider of strategic workforce solutions and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a global leader in the understanding, practice and development of leadership are pleased to announce their joint presentation at the 2006 Capability Development & Skill Pool Management for Oil & Gas Conference.
Pearson PS and CCL will present a case study on how to create a Succession Planning and Talent Management program that has process integrity and creates relevant and challenging learning opportunities for all participants. The case study will demonstrate:
- How to use industry best practices to identify and "short list" your program's candidate pool
- How to use a specific process to understand and prioritize the program's leadership learning needs based on business goals and available company resources
- How to determine and implement the appropriate mix of learning modalities for program participants by individual and group
The Capability Development & Skill Pool Management for Oil & Gas conference aims to address the issue of the big crew change and provide some of the solutions to help the industry overcome this manpower problem in the 21st century while ensuring that companies have the right people with the right skills in the right place at the right time.
The conference will be held May 23 -24 at the Magnolia Hotel in Houston, TX.
