The Center for Creative Leadership is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our constituents. CCL subscribes to the American Psychological Association's code of ethics regarding the use of an individual's personal data for research; this code is particularly concerned with protecting the rights of the person. In addition, our policies are guided by the U.S. Department of Commerce's "safe harbor" principles covering data privacy for residents of the European Union. In fact, we strive to extend these more stringent data privacy protections to all Center clients, wherever they reside.
We do not rent or sell information about you to any outside organizations. Also, we limit the information we collect from you to the minimum necessary to provide outstanding service. All financial information you give us is kept secure.

The personal and organizational information we collect is used to improve the quality of leadership and to provide essential feedback to participants. Web-based Submissions
The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Center's Web site: http://www.ccl.org. Information Request Forms
Our site's information request form requires users to provide us with contact information (such as name and email address). We use customer contact information from this form to send the user information about our company. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.
Online Bookstore
CCL® collects users' contact information (such as e-mail address) and financial information (such as account or credit card number). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. Contact information is also used to get in touch with customers when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.
Registration Request Form
CCL® collects information necessary for registration in a program. This includes the user's contact information (such as mailing address) and financial information (such as credit card number). Contact information from the order form is used for all necessary contact related to program attendance. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services and is collected in a secure environment.
Online Surveys
From time to time, we may post online surveys to ask visitors for opinions on leadership, our service, or their needs. This information will be used internally to provide better service to our clients. Any customer contact information we collect would only be used to contact the visitor if necessary. Demographic and profile data may also be collected as the need arises for internal reporting only.

myCCL Member Profile Form
For memberships in myCCL, the myCCL member site collects member contact information and preference responses to leadership challenges. This information is used to contact you and to provide you with information regarding publications, research, programs, and other information to address the member's noted challenges. In addition, myCCL acts as the user portal for post-registration data and online assessments for programs. Members of myCCL are requested to log in during an e-Commerce transaction. Any information collected during the transaction will be used to process your order. In addition, this information may be used internally to provide better service to myCCL members. If registering for a program, some information gathered while logged in to a myCCL account may be used for the purposes of the program. Members can update their profile at any time while logged into myCCL. Members can also choose to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners at the point where information is requested. In addition, users are provided with the option to remove their information from our database to eliminate all future communications or to discontinue service. See Choice/Opt-Out.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our secure server encrypts all payment information you send us, including your name, address, credit card number and its expiration date. The encryption process takes all this personal information and converts it into code that is securely transmitted over the Internet.
IP Addresses
IP addresses allow us to diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. This IP address is used to gather broad demographic information for internal use only.
Cookies
Our online bookstore uses cookies to keep track of the user's shopping cart. We use cookies to save the user's password so that it doesn't have to be re-entered with each visit to our site.
