October 2001: Complexity: The New Leadership ChallengeFor a number of years the buzz on business has been dominated by speed ... who's fast, long work weeks, relentless travel schedules ... but recently, the intricacies and complexities of work have begun to move to the forefront. Today, in the aftermath of attacks on the U.S. and the beginning of a new kind of war, the level of complexity has increased exponentially for most of us. The interconnectedness of business, politics, religion, culture and individual perspective is, at best, mind-boggling.
