Bob Kaplan is a partner with Kaplan DeVries Inc., which specializes in leadership consulting to senior managers and management teams, and also does practical research and product development. He began consulting to executives and conducting pioneering research on leadership in the early 1980s at the Center for Creative Leadership. He is coauthor with Rob Kaiser of the new book, "The Versatile Leader: Make the Most of Your Strengths-Without Overdoing It" (www.versatileleader.com). Kaplan is also the author of "Beyond Ambition: How Driven Managers Can Lead Better and Live Better," and the author of two 360o instruments: CCL's SKILLscope for Managers and, along with Rob Kaiser, the Leadership Versatility Index. He is a thought leader with over 85 publications and presentations on leadership, development, and performance measurement.
