The Center for Creative Leadership and CHF International sponsored a panel discussion in Washington, D.C. in June 2006 on "Leadership in Fragile States: Building Stable Societies through Local Leadership." The half-day event on Capitol Hill brought together an array of international experts to explore best practices for supporting local leadership in fragile states such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan.
