This Leading Effectively webinar from the Center for Creative Leadership is based on years of experience in our Developing the Strategic Leader program, and insights shared in the book, Becoming a Strategic Leader: Your Role in Your Organization's Enduring Success. We know that individuals and teams enact strategic leadership when they Think, Act, and Influence others in ways that promote the enduring success of the organization. This webinar focuses on specific and practical ways to become more engaged and effective at developing the strategy to guide your organization's future.

- Learn a common definition and several frameworks to guide the development of strategic leadership in yourself and others
- Assess yourself, your team, and your organization on key factors for strategic leadership
- Learn practical ways to enhance strategic leadership in yourself and in your organization

About the Presenters

Kate Beatty, Ph.D., is an organizational psychologist at CCL. She is the Group Manager, Leading Teams and Organizations, and works closely with CCL's clients who are interested in enhancing the effectiveness of their individual leaders, their teams, and their organizations. Kate has extensive experience in the area of strategic leadership, and is co-author of the book Becoming a Strategic Leader: Your Role in Your Organization's Enduring Success. Prior to joining CCL, Kate worked in executive development at Anheuser-Busch Companies, and she was a consultant with Colarelli, Meyer, and Associates. She also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and she applied those skills while working for both General Motors and GE Medical Systems. |

Lynn D. McCann, Ph.D., is a Senior Faculty Consultant with the Center's Custom Solutions Group on CCL's San Diego campus. In addition, she is president and founder of Authentic Leader and has more than 25 years experience consulting and training in the fields of communication, leadership, and organizational change. |
