In this session Dr. Kerry Bunker and Michael Wakefield explore the evolving leadership model and the leadership capacities necessary for today's leaders to be able to handle unintended consequences of organizational challenges such as reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and downsizings, and adaptation to globalization.
As times change, ambiguity and uncertainty require organizations to reframe their ideas around leadership capacities. The evolving model of leadership in the reality of contemporary organizational life begs the question - are leaders ready to deal with the challenges of today's uncertain times?
Outcomes
Those participating in the Webinar will learn the attributes of the Authentic Leadership Paradox Model and how they interact to influence leadership effectiveness. Participants will also be able to use the model to examine corporate culture influences on leadership tendencies. Both perspectives contribute to targeted development for individuals or as larger scale interventions.
Maximizing the Value of the Webinar
- Invite others to participate. Structure a group "lunch and learn" session and invite other colleagues to attend.
- Debrief the lessons learned. Set aside time at the end of the Webinar to discuss takeaways, and how they apply to your group or organization
- Tap into your training budget. Ask your HR group or manager to underwrite the Webinar as part of your organization's ongoing staff development effort.
