Boundaries exist. What really matters is how leaders collaborate to bridge these divides and transform wide-ranging talents and knowledge to deliver value. Eighty-six percent of 128 executives and leaders in a recent CCL study stated that it is "extremely important" for them to collaborate effectively across boundaries. Yet just 7% believed they were "very effective" at doing so — a critical 79% gap.
Drawing upon their landmark book, Boundary Spanning Leadership, the authors will lead the audience in developing new insights and skills to think and act beyond current boundaries to achieve inspiring results.
In this session you will learn:
- What is Boundary Spanning Leadership?
- Why is Boundary Spanning Leadership Needed?
- How can Boundary Spanning Leadership be practiced?
- What are the implications?
Visit the www.spanboundaries.com website for additional information on spanning boundaries and the new publication by Chris Ernst.
