Rensselaer at Hartford is a not-for-profit branch of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Rensselaer is the nation's oldest technologic research university. The focus of the Hartford campus is on graduate degrees and professional development training for working professionals at both the individual and organizational level. Graduate degrees are offered in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and Management. Professional development training programs range from one to five days in length and are available in the areas of:

  • Leadership and Executive Development
  • Management and Supervisory Skill Development
  • Computer and Information Technology
  • Technical and Professional Development
  • Total Quality Management and Process Improvement (in affiliation with the Connecticut Technology Council (CQC)

Rensselaer at Hartford offers both the Leadership Development Program (LDP)® and the Foundations of Leadership program.

Other Program Offerings
Rensselaer works directly with companies to design and deliver programs that provide their employees with the critical skills they need to be successful in today's dynamic work environment. Through the combination of research strengths and faculty expertise, Rensselaer offers companies a diverse and unique selection of premier technical and professional development programs.

Programs are held at the campus in Hartford or at a site selected by the client. In many cases, programs can also be delivered to multiple locations simultaneously through video-conferencing.
